What does Romicj Trans haul?
We specialize in rail container delivery, also called drayage. We pick up containers that arrive by train at rail terminals in the Portland–Vancouver area and deliver them to your business. Then we return the container.
Where do you deliver?
Oregon and Washington only. Our standard routes are Salem, Albany, Lebanon, Eugene, Roseburg and Medford in Oregon, and Olympia, Tacoma and Seattle in Washington. Local deliveries in the Portland–Vancouver area are available too. Call for a quote.
Are your rates one way or round trip?
Our posted rates are round trips from the Portland–Vancouver area: we pick up the container, deliver it to you, and bring it back. We confirm the final price for your exact address when you book.
How do I get a quote?
Call 503-384-8676 or send the quote form. It helps to have the container number, the rail terminal it's at, the delivery address, the container size and weight, and when it's ready for pickup.
What is drayage?
Drayage is the short truck move that connects a train or ship to the final customer. In rail drayage, a truck picks the container up at the rail terminal, delivers it to the customer, and returns it afterward.
Are you licensed?
Yes. Romicj Trans LLC is a registered motor carrier with U.S. DOT number 1611765.
Who will I talk to when I call?
You'll talk to Romulus Tuluc, the owner of Romicj Trans. He drives the truck himself, so you get answers directly from the person moving your container.
Do you deliver outside Oregon and Washington?
No. We focus on Oregon and Washington so we can give each delivery our full attention.
